Featured Alpacacast: "Ideuma Creek" |

Ideuma Creek Alpaca Farm is located in the scenic foothills of the Catskill Mountains. The land has been continually farmed for well over one hundred and fifty years. It has always been our wish to continue this tradition. When we saw our first alpaca, like so many of you reading this, we knew we were hooked, and sooner rather than later, alpacas would become a part of our lives. |
John and I have been raising alpacas for what seems like forever. We simply love it! It is hard to believe it was only seven years ago that we purchased our first three pregnant females. Our herd continues to grow and grow! We always have about 40 alpacas here on our farm, and we usually have about a dozen to twenty cria every spring and summer. This is probably our favorite time of the year! As we gain more and more experience with breeding our alpacas, we find we are able "criate" beautiful alpacas blending color, density, crimp, coverage and softness. We have full Chilean, Bolivian and Peruvian herd sires here at Ideuma Creek Alpacas whom we are extremely proud of! We also have an alpaca of every color on the alpaca color chart and a few more!
